Fudan, the party of '07

Hey guys, I know that I should be blogging a bit more often, but simply put, i've been really stretched for time. So how is everyone going in Melb? You needa all update me on the latest info, otherwise i'm gonna be so outta the loop by the time I get back! Ok, so on to the blogging ...

Let me start by back-tracking a bit to before uni started. Last Monday was the day before Dave Wang was gonna leave for Shanghai so I decided to meet up with him and Stanley since it was the last time I'd see him until like August. So, braving the cold wintery gusts of Shanghai, I catch a cab to mei long guang chang and upon arriving at my destination at around 10.30pm only to be greeted by some uber-FOB looking dude with a equally FOB chick hanging off his hand. uber-FOB is so harsh man, you might be thinking. but picture this: Dave Wang wearing a cap with a bone marrow and some dog that looks like snoopy, giving that classic Dave no eyes smile, holding hands with a Shangdong chick that can only speak Chinese and whose appearance was ever so similar to Violet (No BS! I swear she looked like her!). Despite not being used to Dave's new fashion statement, and being slightly perplexed at Dave's recent infactuation with hooking with up randoms he meets at clubs, I was quite happy for him as he did not stop smiling and talking (yeh..he was talking that night alright). But what at first turned out to be nothing more than a surprise (the chick.. didnt quite catch her name), turned out to be the recipe for disaster.  After we got into Babyface, the girl decides that she really wants to visit wai tan (the Bund). So being as whipped as he is, even by randoms that he had only known for less than 48hrs, Dave obliges and ditches me and Stanley at Babyface with the departing words "Call me when you go karaoke later, I'll definitely come." But it gets worse. Understandably, Stanley gets pissed off so he calls these two shangy girls that they met the day before Joyce and Evonne. However, upon arriving, it turns out Evonne is in a crappy mood (Note: Stanley is kinda into Joyce). Thereafter, we waste about 1.5 hrs as Stan tries to convince Joyce to come to karaoke, but her friend wants to stay at in the club and chat. Seriously, who the heck goes to a club to chat! To cut a long story short, we didnt end up karaoke-ing cos Dave never picked up his phone despite 35 missed calls in the space of 2hrs. So I ended up going home at about 2am, cold and peeved, cos Dave of all people lashed on us despite the fact that he called us out cos it was his last day in Shanghai and that he called us out! Plus I had to register at uni at 10am. Having said that though, Babyface was pretty awesome. It is about 4 times the size of Blvd, the upstairs tables (Rooms) were freaking mad, the lights and music was  pretty good and there were a lot of gags (ie. the 40 y.o. local dude wearing a tweed jacket and sunglasses dancing like ABBA in the techno room and all the other local dudes wearing turtle necks, puff jackets and sunglasses thinking it was cool and fashionable, despite the fact it was pretty much pitch black at some stages and that it was like 30 degrees inside).

Now onto Fudan ...

Registration day was pretty dull. The room was packed with Japs and Koreans. I make my first friend Daniel from Mexico and sign up for the foreign students soccer team. As I approach the last stage, they notify me that I have a placement test in two days time.

Admin woman: Were you born in Australia?
Me: No, I was born in Shanghai, but I went to Australia when I was 5, so I learnt all my Chinese in Australia.
Admin woman: OK. I'll place you in the advanced class placement test.
Me *thinking*: wtf!?

Later, as I head to the dorms to check in, I bump into an Irish chick, Niamh, who is pretty lost, so being the nice person that I am, I help her out, get her to the dorms and help her register. Again, I make the same mistake. Speaking Shanghainese during registration just cos its more convenient. Before I know it, all the dorm staff mark me down and notifiy me that next time they will use me as an interpreter should they need help. So I end up spending another half an hr in the lobby helping others register. The reward for my labour? Giving me a new pillow to replace the half crumbling one they gave me beforehand.

From then on though, the good times started to roll...

First the room. 20th floor, single bedroom, ensuite, desk,  and tv. All for free, plus a monthly allowance of 600rmb (ie. extra spending money).  Thank god for  the U21.  haha.  My floor is dominanted by Koreans. The ones dicrectly across were freaking annoying during the first few days as they played running games in the corridor, screamed in the middle of the night and pumped out really loud korean music during the day.  Also, had I  been on the other side of the corridor, my room woulda had a view of the dong fang ming zhu (Pearl Tower). Oh well, I guess I can't always get everything I want.

Not long after I've cleaned and disinfected my room to the point where it smells like Dettol for the next 5 days, Aaron calls to let me know he has arrived in Shanghai and was coming to Fudan ... in a red cab ... despite the fact that I told him not to catch any red or blue cabs as they are utterly dodgy and own your wallet.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although red cabs tend to be the dodgiest cos they are all independent/illegal (in some cases) drivers as opposed to being part of a big cab company, if your willing to risk greater financial loss and possible abduction (although low probability) then red cabs do tend to offer the greatest entertainment and drivers display the least etiquette.

Case 1

(As soon as Aaron gets in the cab)
Driver: Do you want a cigarette?

Case 2

Driver: Do you see that chick over there?
Alex: Yeh, why?
Driver: If you are so fat, why would you where such a short skirt for?

Case 3

Upon discovering Ricky, Joseph and Jaylum are foreign students, the driver begins to teach them Shanghainese swear words.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After calling me like 5 times on the trip to uni asking for the address of Fudan as well as the pinyin, he finally arrives at Fudan at 5pm ... 30 mins after the registration deadline.

That night we rock up to the lobby at around 7pm to mingle and soon befriend a big group of people drinking beer. This is known as the day 1 people (Michele, Jessica, Grace, Alex, Dexter, Carlos, Shane, Kamran (all UC Berkley), Tom (Canada), Greg (NY) Louis (Monash), Tom (RMIT) ) and THE MEXICANS (Esmeralda, Oscar, Octavio x 3 etc)  Everyone is  pretty kool and  18 of us  end up going to a Sichuan restaurant down the street for dinner where we take up two tables (rooms) upstairs. The highlight of the night? Trying dog meat stew. It kinda tasted like lamb but wasnt as good.

Day 2 we had our placement test. It was hardcore as I did not prepare since the admin lady on registration day said that it would be 'easy' and if I were good at Chinese it would be 'quick' - an 'in and out' job. I'm not sure if she was being a manipulative, evil shangy woman or was just utterly ignorant. Try a 1.5hr 100 multi choice question involving 4 articles. I ended up struggling for time and leaving 10 Qs blank and guessing another 15. After that I had an oral test. However, I did manage to meet the day 2 people Eric (NY), Nancy (England) and Canadian Tom again.

After going to Eric's room and getting kaned in Pro Evo 6, Azza and I headed out to Walmart to buy some necessities. Previously, I had heard that it was a pretty big sotre and that the guy that founded it was super rich. But I did not expect a three storey mega supermarket that was like Kmart rolled into a Myer, combined with a Safeway, Jewellers, Pharmacist and two-dollar shop. It had absolutely everything! It even had stock lined up along the escalators so you could browse and buy stuff while moving from one floor to the next.

That night after dinner I met Joe (Sydney), Amber, Joseph, Ricky, Jonathan (UC San Diego)  and Eric (UC Irvine) at the poker game in the lobby. (1/2 rmb blinds, no-limit texas holdem). Without saying the Aussie boys cleaned out. At around 10pm around 15 of us headed out to Bon Bon (88rmb, open bar). Without saying, with an open bar, it was a great night, and some huge, ripped black guy that used to be part of DMX and could speak Chinese did an awesome job of MC-ing the night. There was a lot of tipsy people by the end of the night, and although not drunk my ride home was in essence

(in the taxi)

Michele: Michael, stop sticking your head out the window and spitting.
Me: I'm not spitting. I'm hurling.
Michele: Oh ok ... continue yakking
Me and Azza: What the hell is yakking? Its called chucking up.

Day three, we started off by going to the bank to get our bank cards done. There was a ticket system so we ended up waiting for about 1.5hrs of which we predominantly spent eating dumplings and walking around aimlessly. Just as our turn arrived, we discovered that Azza was missing. As I wandered outside to look for him, I suddenly spot this little Asian kid in a green hoodie with his head in a bush. Yep, the night before certainly did take its toll. That night we all went to chen huang miao (Cheng Huang Temple) district and had dinner at one of Shanghai's oldest and most famous restaurants.  There was 27 of in total taking up 3 tables, of which the new additions included Jessie (UC LA), Christine, Angie (both UC Davis I think), Weihua (UC Berkley). The meal ended up costing almost 3000rmb, but the food was really good and we saw our first true Shanghainese arguement with a red faced man yelling and on the verge of decking the staff, so it was well and truly worth the money. So why was the guy so livid and pissed off? Because one of his friends had secretly paid for the bill before he did and he demanded the staff refund the staff and let him pay. Yep, don't we just all just love Shanghai!

Ok, its like 3.30am and my class is at 8am so to wrap up the next few days, we went for a really awesome 1 hr foot/ full body massage
one of the days a, karaoke at qian gui (Cashbox) one night, and met some more people and went clubbing at Guandi (open bar again) another night.  But more on that next time. I'll try finish up this blog (edit) later today.

Until next time ... Lataz

The Journey Begins ...

Due to an overwhelming amount of demand, I have decided to re-continue this blog during the course of my exchange (as you can see I haven't blogged in ages). Also i figured its a way to kinda practice English while in China, otherwise i'll be all FOB-ed out by the time I get back to Melb. For all those cheapo blog browsers out there, TRY leave a comment once in a while.

Firstly, for all you noobs and non-shangies out there, i'll give you a background on Shanghai. It is a self-governed municipality of 18 million people (hence why is so polluted), and it also happens to fund the rest of China (hence why the majority of shangies are obssessed with money, property, shares and to a certain extent corruption). The city is split by the HuangPu River. The east side (the newer side and commercial hub) is called Pudong (Pu east) and the west, Puxi (Pu west) is the older side where all the parties and shopping happens. I'll be studying at Fudan University, which is in the north on the Puxi side, with Aaron and four other random Melb uni people. On and Shanghai is all about guanxi (connections), as knowing the right people pretty much gets you any you want.

So, boys and girls, buckle your belts, here goes... enjoy...

After enduring enduring yet another pain-staking summer of summer school, Aa sponsorship and scorching heat, I was extremely relieved when I finally arrived at Melbourne airport at 6:45am on a wave of well-wishes via sms' and last minuted calls, armed with my backpack, suitcase prdominantly full of clothing, my badminton racquet (which requires a new set of strings), and psychologically, a war-chest of scholarship funding. However, that feeling was to be short lived. Extremely short lived. Upon arriving at the airport I discover that my flight will be 80 minutes late. Then upon boarding the flight I discover that it is no longer a direct flight to Shanghai, meaning that my arrival was going to be delayed by a further 3 hours. Thankfully, thats where the bad news ended.

The flight itself was one of the weirdest flights I've ever been on. Because I was going to arrive in Shanghai on the second day of Chinese New Year, about 2/5 of the plane was empty meaning that I got both the window and aisle seats. Discovering that the only thing I could watch was 'Pororo: the little penguin' I decided to head down to the end section of the plane and watch One Tree Hill on my laptop. That only lasted about 20 minutes, as my battery died. Having really no other alternative than to endure Chinese Pingu for the next few hours I decided to have a chat with one of the air hostesses in mando and soon found out that they were all shangy. Thereafter, I befriended this lady who worked in the Australian Conusulat in Shanghai. So as you can see, I was pretty much trying to practice some mando and work on the art of guanxi whilst on the flight. For the rest of the flight, I pretty much just slept through it on my modified four-seater bed with 5 pillows and 4 blankets.

Upon arriving in Shanghai I was greeted by a weather report stating that it was 8 degrees, and from that point on I knew I was in for 5 and a half months of extreme Asianess. Shanghai is in essence a place where no buildings are below six stories high; where the water runs in an anti clock-wise direction when you flush; where barbers and  massage parlours litter the streets; where chaotic traffic encompassing a pallette of taxis and buses amidst a background of honking is the norm;  and where the only topic of conversation is money, shares, property, cards or mahjong. However, on the flip-side it is a place that blazes in a brilliance of lights at night; a place that actually has a night life; a place where there is an abundance of channels on tv (try sixty-seven including, including 2 sports channels that shows live NBA and EPL); a place where your transport card, wallet and phone is all you need; a place where everything is ridiculously cheap when divided by six; and a place with a multitude of Yao Ming and Ronaldinho ads.

For the first three days that I have been here, all I have really been up to is visiting relatives, hanging out with my cousins, familiarising myself with the city and had a trip down to Fudan to check out my dorm room - and man, is it sweeet! It is not your typical dorm room like Melb Uni or Gilmore Girls style. It is a 24 storey building with 4 lifts, 3 security dudes and swipe card entry into your room. Because i'm on scholarship, the uni gave me a single room with an ensuite on the 20th floor, with Azza being 2 doors down. Apparently the foreign student dorms are mainly Japs and Koreans, although there are also Europeans, Americans and Mexicans. That day Fudan was quite empty as uni doesn't start till March 5th coupled with the fact that it was CNY, so I only saw 4 Germans and an alright looking brunette Russian chick.

Before I end this entry, let me advise you guys on one thing: If your ever in Shanghai on the 3rd/4th day of CNY in the future, plan an all nighter. That is because the 4th day of CNY is where become set off fireworks/ firecrackers to welcome the cai sheng (money god). I was in my room at my aunties place looking out the window at the fireworks extravaganza exploding half a meter away from my face at around midnight thinking that at any minute I could be in hospital or that the window could shatter like all those other apartments in the news. And it was truly an awesome spectacle. However that was until I wanted to sleep. You see, shangies being aficianados of money, decided to carry on with the welcoming of the money gods up until 10 am the next morning. Yep, thats almost 12 freaking hours of firecrackers banging away. Without saying, despite the spectacle, I got quite pissed off by the time the sun started to rise.

Well I think I'll leave it here for now. Nothing much exciting or scandalous has happened yet. It's like 2am now and I need to get up in time for 2moro morning's NBA game while eating my daily dose of xiao long dumplings, and then i'm off to the hairdresser/massage place downstairs before meeting up with Zengfei, Roger and Dave Wang at Xu Jia Hui in the arvo. Aite, make sure you guys keep me up to date with what's happening in Melb, coz I don't wanna be out of the loop with everything when I get back.

Until next time.. Lataz.

Boyz n girlz, dis was the round 4 newsletter for da soccer comp. So yeh ... enjoy... coz i'm gonna do sum macro ... hopefully ... if i dun get distracted as usual ... and i'll update my xanga lataz.

Newsletter #3

howdy strangers!

well its that time of the week again, make sure your phones off and doors shut, cause you've got 20 lines, 372 words, of first rate Almost United newsletter to get through!

So whats the news from week 4? Well.. firstly, we managed to scrape away with a 2-0 win in probably our best performance since round 1. We beat some team. Anyway, they weren't all that flash, and produced a more physical game that the lunch time crowd is used too - despite the remarkably soft umpiring of our referee/style-master calling fouls for grunts, ummms and ouchs.

Our first goal came once again from Mr. Wu, our spiritual leader and star backman who went for a makeover/meditation session 2 weeks ago and emerged as ronaldo. His blistering shot followed a strong ball passing passage all the way up the field bringing his tally to 2 for season.

And here's that bit you've all been waiting for. The second goal. This was a phenominal passage of play started by utterly boring defensive work (which is good to see!) from all the team except for (you'll never guess who didn't get back to defend), thats right, Callan Jolly. After hard work by the defense to turn the ball over, it fell to the master of movement himself, who took one touch, raised his head, and bent it like beckham (or at least like Elton John on the soccer field) around an opposition pigmy straight into the path of our top goal scorer (with 3) Bryon. The crowd went silent as bryon engaged in a battle of minds with their goalkeeper (who had an edge, as bryon had absolutely stuffed up the easiest 1-1 your ever likely to see 10 minutes earlier ). But this time, our no. 1 man slotted a cheeky chip passed the keeper on the near post, putting the game beyond doubt at 2-0, although i think we can give 'Bigger Wright Phillips' a piece of that goal.... or maybe not. There it is .... suitably dramatic cal? (he's been naggin me since thursday)

Oh... and Varma kept a clean sheet and Ed and I were also good... but we just let everyone else take all the kudos cause we're nice guys.

At the end of this round, the worlds best lunchtime team stands at 2 Wins, 1 Loss, 1 Draw, seeing us tied at 2nd, with a win this week taking us into the finals. So everyone!!!!!!!! better be out there supporting us this week (or getting there on time to play) so we can capture the win, and keep playing (on wednesdays for the finals).

Well.. thats it from United HQ,
Same time, Same Channel next week,
Kav - No need to list my seemingly unending soccer credentials such as the Chelsea contract and socceroos squad again.

Quote of the day: Deb: "I hate Fayyaz! He had nothing better to do after polishing his head so he decided to comment "

Note: They have settled their differences now. lolz.

Another good week at uni ... haha  So much too write about, but unfortunately, such a short memory ... well not my fault really, just the way it is.

Well firstly, Monday and Tuesday ... hmmm ... can't remember wat happened cept dat had my usual classes n dat @ Kumon (which is one of my jobs for any of uz dat don't know) da new lady dats filling in for Jeanie (think dats how u spell her name) who is on holidayz for 3 weeks in Malaysia, is sooooo SLOW! so annoying, coz it means more work for me n Frank. n also, Azza had to go to a funeral on Monday so it was one of those rare (as in extremely rare) days wen i didn't c him @ uni (considering he is in all my tutes and lectures dis semester cept for macro tute, n did the same subs n was in 3/4 of my classes as me last semester as well).

Wednesday just came in for table tennis pennants as usual. me n LJ had yet another walk ova coz da dudes didnt rock up. so dats like 16 free premiership points in da last 3 matches n considering the only dude outta the last 6 that were supposed to turn up that did turn up was crap, it was pretty much 18 free points. so yeh, finished the round robin in 1st place, 2 points clear of Sheng's team. haha.  wen the uni tt site gets updated i shall post da full ladder ... n yes ... i am gloating  ... i meen kmon, its a veri shangy thing to do ... gotta keep in touch wit my roots.

Today i skipped 2nd period of Chinese tute coz i had to go to the 10am ARA lec coz i needed to go shopping in the arvo wit Deb for AA ball ... more bout that lata. so afta ARA lec went to bball court for the traditional "Thurs 11am afta chink class bball session" ... n yes ... it has become tradition!  Pid n Frank acame long coz the former i bumped into in ARA lec in dragged along resulting in him missing a lec ... hehe soz Pid  ... n the lata coz ... he was bored?? well 3 interesting things to note ... it was da 1st time i didnt pla on Zhang Yang's team n also da first time i'v played wit Chun; Gloria made her netball stylez debut outscoring Tungy i think ... haha soz Tungy juss had to mention dat; n Azza who said " i need to do work man!" couldnt resist (as i predicted) and ended up playing bball ... i swear dat kid thinks he's from Duke or North Carolina or sumfin. haha. jk man. ur not that good.

Afta that it was round 4 of da lunch time soccer comp for ... *drum roll* ... Almost UTD (UTD stands for united for all of u retards like the sports admin chick who prolly thought it was a beer brand or sumfin). It was pretty much a must win game for us as we were 2 points behind Lucas' curry team. Juss for those of u that dont know - sum backround briefing. group stages - 6 teams per group top 2 teams progress; 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw n 1 for a loss, which i rekon is pretty gay. so yeh, we rocked up n ended up strolling away with the 3 points, n fortunately Lucas' curry team drew wit da team we drew against last week. as Deb pointed out i scored my 2nd goal in 2 games n in da process maintaining my 100% strike rate of 2 goals from 2 strikes. but i'm juss glad we won so it'll b all or nothing in the final round next week against Lucas' curry team.

So yeh, juss for all of uz dat hav missed da latest Almost UTD news i thought i'd juss post up da newsletters dat Kav has been writing ... n yes, me prolly doesnt hav betta things to do for all of uz dat were wondering.

Newsletter #1

Greetings fellow players and supporters!

Well... as the subject suggests, this is the newsletter for undoubtedly the greatest soccer team this side (that being the parkville side) of CBD - Almost Utd. For those reading this who aren't players and didn't know you were supporters, you are now, so, whilst i hate stealing this line from hawthorn, become paid, passionate and paid up (ie. come to the games :D ).

Well, onto the news from the week, the gallant warriors of Almost Utd (aka team CGS (sorry bryan but its true) strolled onto the field casually and ran away with the full 3 points on offer this thursday, whilst most of the students at melbourne uni huddled in front of heaters in various buildings - although some brave souls like Mike Wu's girlfriend braved the artic conditions to see out the entire match.

So after the first week of games Almost Utd, the ladder stand like this:

1. Almost Utd (1 Win, +3 goal difference)
2-5. People not as good as us (some wins, some losses, some goals)
6. The team we beat (0 Wins :'( , 0 goals :'( )

We award no individual votes here at Almost Utd cause we know its.... ah... the team performance that matters. Never the less, we must acknowledge the efforts of Bryan with 2 good goals and a solid game all round, as well as Callan 'Bigger Wright Phillips' Jolly's performance in setting up goal scoring opportunities whilst managing never to set foot on the defensive side of half way. As can be expected, Mike Wu, Eddie, and of course myself (who opened the scoring with a magical strike i might add) managed to keep out Ghost Rider something-or-other for the full 40 minutes. Lets also not forget our indian international goal keeper Ankur Varma, who braved cold, wind, hale, rain, snow, and small ice bergs in order to make timely saves from corners.

Stuff up of the Game: Ankur (conceeding a corner from a ball kicked from the other side of the field - although i may have contributed... still... Ankur's fault :D )

So that about sums it up for this week. Make sure your alllllllllllllllllllllll there next week, thursday, hockey field, 12pm and watch Almost Utd kick more butt.

Cya next week.
Kav - Almost Utd Newletter Dude

Newsletter #2

Grettings animals great and small,

First of all, the more perceptive of you would have noticed (so probably noone) that the week 2 newsletter never got sent.

Right, moving on... For those fans who haven't shown up to any games, the last two weeks have produced less than expected, and less than wanted, results.

We lost against some skilled but actually pretty average mob in week 2. The game was evenly poised with the game played in what appears to be the MU fashion with the ball spending more time on the aths track than in play. Unfortunately, we conceeded a cheap goal 10 or so minutes into the first half as the ball managed to do a Houdini around the outstretched arms of Michael Wu in goals. From then on, we needed to be on the attack at the sacrfice of 2 more goals, and after some missed opportunities and slowish ball movement going forwards, the end score was 3-0 to the bad. Special mention must go to Ed Sharp-Paul for his exceptional play in tough conditions given his somewhat suspect choice of footwear - appropriately aged Converse All-Stars.

Week three saw the end of the All-Stars as Ed sported a flashy pair of specially designed indoor soccer boots. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of this days action. The game was probably pretty boring in reality. Michael Wu produced some magic in a good passage of play to plug away one and put Almost Utd 1-0 up until we conceeded a real stinker at the other end after a foul on our keeper wasn't paid. And thats about it really, considering the game was shortened 10 minutes as our referee was probably held up on the drive in uni by the fashion police for his illegal use of brighly coloured sunglasses. A 1-1 draw to another very average team, although we did miss the pace and agility of Cal Jolly who was nursing himself - ah.. his knee.

Ah well, at the end of all that, we're probably still in the middle of the table somewhere, with still a good chance to make the finals as long as we string together some wins.

Well that about wraps it up!
Cya next week,
Kav - Almost Utd Newsletter Dude and soccer superstar with a contract from Chelsea, on loan to Arsenal, with Manchester United and Real Madrid interested in a transfer opportunity
*Note: Also in the mix for the Socceroos.

Afta soccer went to da free law bbq wit Deb coz all da law dudes were there ie. LJ, John D n Fay, etc. On the way there bumped into Fayyaz, Yiwen, Jack and Michael Zheng who were playing badminton.  since wen did Fayyaz n Yiwen ever play sport!?! to add to da weirdness of it all, then bumped into none otha than Mohammed Rehan Syed Naqvi (or sumfin along those lines; aka Rehan) who was at Melb Uni to play cricket. wtf!?! n for all u guyz dat were wondering ... yes he is still bald n half shaven. cept balder than b4 ... if thats possible.

Afta ARA tute, went down to bourke st wit Deb for sum shopping. First we went to David Jones but then everything was too expensive like dis Hugo Boss shirt was frikin 230 buks ... i meen seriously the thing only costs like 15 buks to make n adding the logo is prolly like an additional 2 cents? so ended up going to Myer which a sale n ended up buying 2 Blaq shirts for 60 buks each. which i think is pretty good considering it was 80 buks each b4 da 25% discount.  after that went down to Box Hill coz Stadium had a sale n was soooooo tempted to buy the AC Milan shirt for 70 buks ... cept ran outta cash.  dats coz i ended up buying an Everlast shirt n hoody n father's day present. so yeh, wat had planned to be juss buying a shirt for AA ball, a shirt n father's day gift, ended up being a shopping spree costing me 230 buks n leaving me broke. ah well, Australia's current GDP is only 3.5% meaning we'r experiencing an economic slowdown, so yeh, gotta do my bit to help the flagging economy.

Well that about wraps up my update, cbf writing nemore, n don't expect nemore long posts coz its too time consuming. gonna do sum macro now, gotta finish CALM.

peace out ~
